The FX6 is truly one of the most feature packed cameras straight out of the box on the market today. Even though the body is the perfect size for gimbal use, it still features up to 7 Stops of internal ND and and electric variable ND for fine adjustment, fantastic autofocus, and dual ISOs of 800 and a whopping 12800! This makes the FX6 the perfect camera for solo shooters, documentary filmmakers, and productions with fast turnarounds. Unbelievably, this camera also has a full frame sensor capable of capturing up to 120fps in 4k. With a maximum power draw of 18 watts, the FX6 can run off Sony BP-U batteries for up to 4 hours making this tiny camera even more compact and lightweight. Two full size XLR inputs have been cleverly integrated into the top handle to free up space on the body for gimbal shooting and has the same fantastic preamps that we have all come to love from Sony’s FS line up. Overall the Sony FX6 truly is one the most advanced cameras that Sony has ever released and with its use of CFexpress type A cards, secure as well. Not to mention the fact that it is pretty much a production ready camera straight out of the box.
